Grieg Seafood employs more than 150 dedicated professionals at various locations including their Campbell River head office, Gold River hatchery and farm sites on the east and west coasts of Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast area, the latter which is 120 km north of BC’s largest city, Vancouver.

Interested in joining our team? We’re looking for hard-working, dedicated individuals who are committed to raising healthy salmon in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner.

Many of Grieg’s employees have transitioned from other careers including commercial fishing, self-employment, restaurateurs or forestry, to join aquaculture. Their career knowledge ranges from working outdoors on fishing boats and tugs, to obtaining university degrees in aquaculture, biological sciences, marine resource management, business, accounting, veterinary and environmental sciences.

Aquaculture is an increasingly technical and scientific sector. Grieg regularly provides training courses to maintain its highly qualified workforce. A strong commitment to workplace safety includes annual first aid, marine vessel safety, confined space awareness and other certificate courses, for Grieg’s farmers, administrative staff and hatchery workers.
